Basement Renovations
Basement finishing and legal basement projects in Milton and the GTA.
About This Service
Reno Rabbit is a general contractor for basement renovations in Milton and the GTA, from family recreation spaces, home offices and gyms to legal basement projects. Depending on the scope, we coordinate layouts, demolition, framing, insulation, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, drywall, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens and finishing. We begin with a complimentary in-person consultation to assess the existing basement and its intended use. Ceiling height, access, mechanical systems, natural light and moisture concerns all inform the scope. For a proposed secondary unit, we coordinate the necessary drawings, permits, trades and inspections, with requirements established for the property and municipality. Legal basement planning may involve fire separation, egress, ventilation and smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms. Suitability and approvals must be confirmed before a space is described as a legal unit. View our basement project photos and contact us to discuss the layout, priorities and investment range for your renovation.
